S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you RJ Lincoln for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

[H]eart
1. Talking and praying to and about God.
2. Getting out and helping others in need.
I’d like to be a part of missions, elder care visits and maybe even prison visits.
3. Encouraging people, life can be hard, but we a little support and encouragement we can get through it together, with God.
I think I’d like to work with families of addicts, older people that have few family or people around to visit them. People in prison to discuss Christ and the way He can change us.
I’d like to help more at the church.

Your Primary was ‘The Otter’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
[E]xperience
I grew up in a Catholic school, was introduced to the story of salvation through the death and resurrection at 19/20, back slid until marriage and asked God to come back and run my life at 30.
Was an usher and deacon at Rue Congregational church for 3-5 years in the late 90s
As a young kid, 9-18, I was a hockey and football player, had a lot of food coaches that helped me find my way.
My early jobs as a kid helped me see the value of a good work ethic, also learned this from my Mom.
I believe as an infant and very young kid, was showered love by my Grand mother, Grand father and my Mom.
I had a few negative “fatherly” figures, or none at all that helped me see right and wrong in how to behave.
spent a short amount of time, from 9-13 in a bad neighborhood with some bad kids, I got sucked into that for a bit, but realized, I think by Gods grace, that that wasn’t the way I wanted to continue.
I was a very reckless, young man, lots of partying, crashing vehicles, drinking and womanizing. Thanks be to God for taking me out of those behaviors and helping me see His way and wanting to live more like Jesus and following His ways.
