S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Rhonda Davis for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

Your Primary was ‘The Retriever’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Lion’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.
Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
[E]xperience
Grew up in the Church, Sunday morning and night, Tuesday night visitation, Wednesday night and anything youth on the weekends. I accepted Christ in 4th grade at Laguna Park Baptist Church, moved to Burleson and was baptized at First Baptist Church. Married early at 18, after 5 years, I was divorced at 23 with a son two year old. I spent the next 27 years pretty much out of church. Was married for the second time at age 24, this was an abusive relationship. After 14 years, at 38 I was divorced again with two sons, Toby who was now 16 and Preston 10. The next 11 years I was completely out of control. I was that single woman who was out to prove I was worthy of love. I dated a lot of men. Even ended up using drugs (meth). I could have lost everything, my kids, my home, my freedom. I believe today it is by God’s Love and Grace I didn’t end up addicted. In the spring of 2011 I met Kenny. He was a Christian but not going to church regularly. I had decided he was just going to be my friend. Nothing more. My running around buddy. My ride. I surely wasn’t going to fall in love with him. Things don’t always go as planned. We were married Feb. 22, 2012. I have come full circle. Life is good.
Meeting Kenny, I don’t know where I would be without his love, acceptance and influence on me.
Having a strong Christian background, Rick as my youth leader. Even when I had turned my back on God, I knew it was me and not Him. His love for me never changed.
I try to not judge people. Who would ever believed Sweet Rhonda would have been a drug user. I lived two lives. My family didn’t even know. Like I said I could have lost everything.
I look at women differently. I believe every woman who gives herself to a man before marriage is hoping he will be the one to love her like in her dreams. We are looking for someone to fill the void.
I don’t judge when I share my $$$ with the homeless. If I feel God is telling me to give to them. That is my job. To worry about what they do with the $$$ is a sin. Because in that situation non of us know what we would do or how we would handle our life.
Wrapping It Up
The Challenge: Based upon your S.H.A.P.E. Assessment above (the way God wired you), If you knew you couldn’t fail … and ‘lack of money, or time’ was not an obstacle… list your Top 3 Things you would ‘Focus’ your Life on, next to #1 Loving God & #2 Loving Your Neighbor (these would be your ‘3 God-Sized Dreams’ for your life)?
1. My Relationship with GOD
2. My Relationship with Others
- Putting Your Spouse First
- Your Kids Second
- Everyone Else After those
3. If I had no Road Blocks, I would want to help the homeless in downtown Fort Worth. I would provide for the people physical (food) and emotional (getting to know them on a personal level as human beings. j). I would love to wash, brush and fix the women’s hair paint their finger nails. Make them feel loved and beautiful.
4. Make sure the less fortunate children in school had their lunches paid for and all the school supplies they need.
