[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. Seeing people won to Christ (repent, being baptized in water/spirit) like literally not being a believer then becoming new creations

2. The fine arts especially live music/worship, painting, poetry, dance, etc

3. Serving others I love getting a reaction out of people by meeting or exceeding their expectations even changing their mind about preconceived notions or prejudices

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

I love working with college age/young adults because of my own story and how I feel I can impact that age… I love confident, creative, extroverted, high energy, fun, easygoing people…

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

Sound doctrine, truly understanding the message of the Gospel and living it! Bible history found in Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and Acts! I love learning/teaching about the climate and culture during that time when Jesus walked the Earth and after his Resurrection and the message began to spread. Evangelism! Equipping the saints for ministry!

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.

Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline

[E]xperience

My brief testimony of how I became a Christian

I grew up “going to church.” After accomplishing everything I set out to do in life, I still felt unfulfilled. I prayed for guidance. God answered. After a rough year in several areas I decided to seek God more. That’s when I experienced a major breakthrough in my faith. Prayed for growth, God answered and since then it’s been my lifestyle.

Ministry Experience (Where I have served in the past, if applicable, including ChurchName, City/State, Position, Years Involved):

Grace Covenant Church of DC (7 years): Set up team member (6 years) , Small Group leader (2 years), Campus leader (4 years) LA Mission trip (May 2015)…

List 3 Positive experiences from the past that made a big impact on who you are today:

Being accepted, attending, and graduating from Howard University twice

Experiencing independent business/entrepreneurship

The birth of my daughter, Glory

List 3 Negative Experiences from your past that have helped to Shape me, but also have given you great compassion for others going through similar circumstances:

Losing my father

Experiencing racism

Struggling academically through school
