#1 Gift, Teaching (84%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love searching out the truth. I am compelled to share it. Others say this about me.

#2 Gift, Pastoring/Shepherding (75%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I love others. The Gospel and the truth of scripture meets everyone’s needs at the deepest level. Guidance and care are important.

Others have said this about me.

#3 Gift, Prophecy (71%)

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
God know the end before the beginning. When people are lost and without a direction it is helpful to hear and know that God has a plan. He is not surprised by outcomes. No other person or religion can with 100 % accuracy can tell us what the future holds.

Eschatology or things spoken of by scripture as being events yet future is the way I would understand prophesy. I am not a prophet but love to share with others those things spoken of in the Bible as yet to come!

[H]eart

Three things I love to do that bring joy and fulfillment in my life:

1. I love discovering God as he reveals himself in his word. I am continually amazed by his word and by his handiwork in nature. Even discoveries in science and knowledge of technology, the sciences, academics are testaments to the Omnicient creator of all that exists. I love to explore his word and share with others these truths.

2. I desire to be the husband that that the Bible describes. I want to love her as Christ loved the church (the ecclesia). I want my actions and attitudes to resemble those of my Savior, so that she sees Him in me. Not for my glory but for his glory. I am blessed and honored to walk with her each step of the way. I am enjoying the shared life as well as proclaiming to all who will hear the wonderful person and wife that she is, and how God has blessed me with her!

3. I desire to the father that the Bible describes. I want my son to grow up in the grace and knowledge of the Lord. God is an awesome Father, and the only one that I can think of that the Bible speaks of in a positive sense! (the father in the Prodigal Son parable is spoken of positively, but even that is illustrative of the Father) . I am honored, humbled and very overjoyed to be a Father. I love our relationship and am awed that God would entrust the responsibility of being a father to me.

Who I love to work with most, and the age or type of people:

Generally adults, those that God has brought across my path and have open minds and hearts to the word of God. Right now or lately it seems that the elderly, God is bringing into my life

Church issues, ministries, or possible needs that excite or concern me the most:

The church is partnering up with the world and worldly organizations. This would seem wise, scripture discusses this. I believe that unless numbers in church audience is the goal. There are plenty of examples of how this has failed again and again, and is leading us further from our biblical mandate, not closer.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Retriever’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God

Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.

Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace

Golden Retriever- Good at making friends. Very loyal. Retriever personalities do not like big changes. They look for security. Can be very sensitive. Very caring. Has deep relationships, but usually only a couple of close friends. Wants to be loved by everyone. Looks for appreciation. Works best in a limited situation with a steady work pattern.

Strength: Accommodating, calm, affirming
Weakness: Indecisive, indifferent, unable to express emotional, too soft on other people
Limitation: Seeing the need to be more assertive, holding others accountable
