S.H.A.P.E. Assessment Results
Thank you Nicola Weldon for taking the SHAPE Assessment. We encourage you to meet with a Church Leader that you respect, to go over your results, so that they can help you discover a place to serve in the church and/or community, and also to help you fine-tune your 5 Main Focuses/Priorities listed at the bottom of this email under the ‘Wrapping it up’ section. May God Bless You!

This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I know I have the gift of encouragement. It is something that was given to me a long time ago. I always seek the positive and encourage people to turn to God. There have been occasions when He has given me a word of encouragement to deliver to someone. He has also given me Words to deliver that people have not always wanted to hear!
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
I know I also have this gift!! I have the gift of being able to talk to anyone, anywhere about anything! It’s quite incredible really! lol I am good at starting a conversation and people seem to share with me quite easily. I do have to improve my skills at evangelising though as, sometimes, I can whittle on!
This gift’s evident in my life in the following ways:
This is also a gift! I am happy to give money away to different causes and tithe etc. I do this because I do not like to hold onto money too much, I believe God wants me to share what I have with others. I don’t believe it is good to hold onto money or possessions too tightly as my focus will be on those things and not on God. I don’t want to get greedy and focused on seeking things that are not good for me. God told me ages ago to ‘Seek the Kingdom of God’. He also told me to stop seeking ‘futile’ things!! I knew it was Him as futile is not a word I would use. God has never let me down and when I have needed anything, He has always kept His Word to me. Plus you can’t take your cash to heaven!

1. I love going to church. I feel that I have now found my home and Soul Church is currently the place for me. I enjoy talking to people and listening to whatever is being delivered. The singing is pretty cool too.
2. Running brings me much happiness (when I’ve finished!) When I run, its nice to switch off or talk to God and look around at how wonderful our country is and how we are free.
3. Reading the bible and making notes makes me happy too. It brings health to my soul and improves my attitude, thoughts, behaviour and my perspective on life is bought back in line.
I support people who are disabled or have learning disabilities. I work with people from the age of 20+ to my oldest client who was 99 before she departed this world. I predominately prefer working with the older generation but I don’t really mind. I will work with whoever comes my way.
I haven’t been at the church long so I am not too sure about ministries etc. It’s early days.

I am a support worker and have been for 10 years. I, basically, support people to become and remain independent. I also act as their advocate so should they have any issues, I will support them to resolve those issues. I also support them at review meetings to ensure that they receive fair treatment. I work with people who are disabled as well as adults who have learning disabilities. I work alongside The Shared Lives Scheme in Norfolk as well as have my own clients. I am currently undertaking the City & Guilds Level 5 Diploma in Residential Management and will be endeavouring to get registered with The Care Quality Commission (CQC) as I am hoping to run my own small service (3/4 residents) either in 2019/2020.
I managed a security company many moons ago and also worked as a PA in London for quite a few years.
I am quite a confident person and will challenge poor behaviour and attitudes. I enjoy working with people and participating in things. I will put myself out for someone.
I haven’t taught a class or seminar about anything that involves church matters. I am not a public speaker.
Friendly.

Your Primary was ‘The Lion’, with your Secondary coming in as ‘The Otter’, and here are the descriptions of your Personalities, and how they can be used for God
Lion- This personality likes to lead. The lion is good at making decisions and is very goal-oriented. They enjoy challenges, difficult assignments, and opportunity for advancement. Because lions are thinking of the goal, they can step on people to reach it. Lions can be very aggressive and competitive. Lions must learn not to be too bossy or to take charge in other’s affairs.
Strength: Goal-oriented, strong, direct
Weakness: Argumentative, too dictatorial
Limitation: Doesn’t understand that directness can hurt others, hard time expressing grace
Otter- Otters are very social creature. Otter personalities love people. They enjoys being popular and influencing and motivating others. Otter can sometimes be hurt when people do not like them. Otter personalities usually have lots of friends, but not deep relationships. They love to goof-off. (They are notorious for messy rooms.) Otters like to hurry and finish jobs. (Jobs are not often done well.) The otter personality is like Tigger in Winnie The Pooh.
Strength: People person, open, positive
Weakness: Talks too much, too permissive
Limitation: Remembering past commitments, follow through with discipline
[E]xperience
I became a Christian when I was about 20 and then went off on my own path. I came back in my 40’s (I am now 49 – 50 in July!!!! :-(( ) I originally became a Christian through my friends mum.
No real involvement.
I learnt from a young-age to look after myself. This can be perceived as positive but it can also be negative!
I have been through experiences of illnesses/injuries and although these experiences were not positive in their own right, the outcomes were positive as I started to realise that God is in control!
Living abroad for a couple of years. The experiences of this made me see things differently to what I would have just living in England.
Alcohol and drug dependency. I have been in positions myself where I have been involved in someway with these things and I understand why people take this path. Although I understand and empathise for people who take this path, and having lost someone to alcoholism (amongst other illnesses), it is not currently my area to support people with. That may change in years to come but not at the moment.
I appreciate why people do what they do and why they make bad choices. I have made loads of bad choices in my life and can see why people do these things.
